Encouraging words

We praise trying, not speed.

Say this

• “Small steps.”
• “Try again.”
• “I can ask for help.”
• “Mistakes help me learn.”

Practice

Choose a skill. Then do a short set. The tracker logs attempts by standard.

1) Pick a skill

Standards: — Difficulty: — Visuals: —

2) Solve

Press “New problem”.
Tip: Scratch paper is okay.
Auto visuals will open the Visuals page when regroup/borrow/arrays can help.

Calm + Focus

Short break tools (30–60 seconds).

Breathing

Breathe in (1…2…3)… hold (1…2)… breathe out (1…2…3…4).

No break running.

Goal

Try 5 problems today. That is success.

Visuals for the current problem

These visuals update automatically when you generate a problem.

Visual tips (kid-friendly)

Regroup / Carry (addition)

If ones are 10 or more → trade 10 ones for 1 ten.

Borrow (subtraction)

If you don’t have enough ones → borrow 1 ten and turn it into 10 ones.

Arrays (multiplication)

Rows × columns = total dots. Arrays help you “see” multiplication.

Standards Tracker 📊

This logs attempts and correct by standard code. Everything stays on this device (local storage).

Standard Attempts Correct Accuracy Notes (what this covers)

Tip: Aim for 80%+ accuracy before moving up difficulty.
